How much turf will I need?
Turf is sold based on how many square meters you require. To calculate how many square meters you need, simply measure the area you need turfed in meters. Multiply the length of the area by the width. If you have multiple areas, do this for each area and then add the results.

How do I prepare, lay & maintain my turf?
Prior to laying level the ground with a rake to remove all lumps, rocks etc. Spread new topsoil if needed to help level out. Preferably lay to a depth of 30 to 50mm. Ensure the ground is moist but do not over water. Fertilise the ground.
How long should I water the lawn after laying?
It is advisable to water each day for at least 21 days after laying. You must use sufficient amount of water to ensure deep root growth.
How much turf do I fit on a pallet?
The normal size pallet is 50m2 and the maximum amount of turf on a pallet is 60m2.
What is the weight of a pallet of turf?
A pallet of turf is just under 1 tonne. Weight will vary slightly depending on the turf variety.
When is the best time of the year to lay turf?
Turf can be laid all year round. The best time to lay turf though is during winter when you get better root growth than in the summer months and there is less evaporation with watering.
How much notice do we need to order turf?
Turf is cut to order and can only sit on a pallet for 24 hours. We need 1-2 days notice for deliveries. Delivery can be arranged for Sunday if organised in advance.
What size are the slabs of turf?
A slab of turf is 1200mm long and 600mm wide.

NO, Zoysia is not effected by lawn grub.
Shade Master Variety?
Its name might sound misleading, but it actually shines in low light. So where other lawns may not grow as well, Shade master will flourish. However it will still grow perfectly well in full sunlight or dapple light.
